My Approach
Savannah is often celebrated for its Southern charm, but beneath its beauty lies a complex urban environment shaped by social dynamics, neighborhood patterns, and timing.
AWARE reframes how people engage with city safety by shifting away from fear-based messaging and toward curiosity, confidence, and control. By transforming awareness into an interactive experience, AWARE encourages users to explore, observe, and better understand their surroundings in a way that feels both empowering and engaging.
Exploration
I explored visual elements like maps, pins, street grids, and the letter “S” to represent both city structure and safety, focusing on making awareness feel interactive and discovery-driven rather than fear-based.
Direction
I landed on an eye logo integrated with Savannah’s square layout, symbolizing observation and navigation, helping users move through the city with confidence and awareness.
