Meet TRAPSOUL:

Where Rhythm Meets Soul

Trapsoul Festival, inspired by Bryson Tiller’s debut album, blends the raw energy of trap with the soulful depth of R&B. The atmosphere is bold and gritty, with grungy textures and distressed details enhancing its urban aesthetic. A vintage halftone portrait of Bryson Tiller, paired with dynamic radial elements, adds a nostalgic yet modern feel. This combination captures the edgy yet soulful essence of Trapsoul, making the festival striking and memorable.

My Approach

Inspired by the smooth, moody essence of Trapsoul, the festival captures a sense of late-night energy, emotion, and atmosphere tied to the genre’s blend of R&B and trap.

The goal was to develop a cohesive festival identity that feels immersive, memorable, and adaptable across physical and digital touchpoints, exploring multiple visual directions to balance mood, clarity, and a strong connection to the culture and sound of Trapsoul.

Prompt

For this project, I was tasked with designing a music festival, and I chose to create Trapsoul, developing a cohesive identity that translates the mood and essence of the genre into visuals.
